DESCRIPTION:
Ansonia Clock Co., C.1910, Royal Bonn, "LA LAYON" porcelain china cased clock, with 8-day, gong strike mov't with open escapement on porcelain dial, in a multi-colored case, red top, yellow center + dark green at base, with two large peonies below the dial, red and white.
CONDITION:
overall excellent original condition, with perfect dial, original hand and pendulum, gong, etc. Gold highlights still intact. For reference, see Ly Ansonia book, pg 636; 2004 price guide = $1200. There was a green/aqua one sold Feb 28, 2010, by C. L. Horton, lot 228, for $708+10%. Ht 14.5"
